POST /v1/orders/{id}/confirm-shipped no longer does anything. It still answers 200
with the order, unchanged, and carries a Deprecation: true header — remove the call
when convenient.
Why#
Accepting an order books the courier, and the courier reports the parcel's progress
itself. A "handed to the courier" signal from you added nothing: no pickup, no money and
no message depended on it. It moved the order to ship_to_courier without checking
where the order was, so calling it late could pull a delivered order backwards.
What changes for you#
- The order stays
acceptedafter you hand the parcel over, and through delivery. - Where the parcel is:
GET /v1/orders/{id}/tracking—statusis the courier's latest status,events[].is_finalmarks the delivery. The order also carriesdelivered_at. - The PHP SDK marks
orders()->confirmShipped()@deprecated, and the WooCommerce plugin drops its "Confirm handed to courier" button.
