Create an address

POST/v1/addresses

scope company.write

Adds an address you can ship from. Your first address automatically becomes the default, whatever you send in is_default — a seller with one address and no default is a seller who cannot ship. The street must contain a number and the postal code must fit both the country format and the county the city is in; a courier rejects the shipment otherwise, so we reject it here instead.

Request body#

FieldTypeRequiredDescription
city_idintegerrequiredFrom GET /v1/geo/cities. Free-text city names are never accepted — the courier needs this id.
streetstringrequiredStreet and number, 5-50 characters, and it must contain a digit (address_number_required otherwise). This is also the street printed on listings published from this address.
postal_codestringrequiredChecked against the country format and, where we have the data, against the county the city belongs to. See GET /v1/geo/address-rules.
county_idintegeroptionalAlmost never needed: the county always follows the city. Send it only to assert the one you expect — a value that disagrees with the city is rejected with county_mismatch rather than silently ignored.
is_defaultbooleanoptionalMake this the address orders ship from. Setting it clears the flag on every other address — there is always exactly one. Ignored on your first address, which is the default regardless.
company_namestringoptionalOptional trading name stored on this address only. It does not touch your company profile — use PUT /v1/company for that.
company_vat_codestringoptionalOptional VAT code stored on this address only.
company_reg_nostringoptionalOptional registration number stored on this address only.

Example

{
    "city_id": 1,
    "street": "Bulevardul Decebal 14",
    "postal_code": "200001",
    "is_default": true
}
