Reject a return

POST/v1/returns/{id}/reject

scope orders.write

Takes the ORDER id. The returned product is not what was sent, or it came back damaged: this opens a dispute for the Biklo team, who decide — refund in full, refund part, or no refund. The money stays held meanwhile; you get return.escalated, then return.resolved. Same timing and the same 409 refusals as accept. Returns the order.

Request body#

FieldTypeRequiredDescription
reasonstringrequiredWhat is wrong with the returned product, 10 to 2000 characters. The Biklo team and the buyer read it in the dispute.

Example

{
    "reason": "The returned bike has a cracked frame that was not there when we shipped it. Photos sent by email."
}

Response#

Returns the same object as One order (GET /v1/orders/{id}), described in full there.
